Thanks for your in-sightful replies. No, i have not asked the wrong person. i am another who do not put high priority in my outward appearances. Like what you've said, in order not to stumble others nor distract others, we'll have to dress appropriately at certain occasion.

And in worship service too, to dress smartly, a form of respect for God and the Holy Sanctuary, though of course, i would totally agree that it is the heart of worship that really matters when we come before Him.

Haha.., by the way, i also like to sit cross-legged on the chair when listening to sermons, at shopping centre when carefully selecting things at the lowest shelf, sometimes at MRT too. :)
