Hi, Elder Yong. How have you been? Got a question to seek your opinion. During wedding ceremony or celebrations, we often hold our glass together and shout 'Yam Seng' very loudly and hold our breath as long as possible.
I do not know what is the actual meaning behind this except i have been advise since i was young by my uncle who is now a Reverend that we need not partake in this 'Yam Seng' cheer. He did not tell me much about the reason and i did not ask him much then as i was still young. I only know that i respect my uncle very much as it is he who had persistently prayed for our family and one of the people who brought Salvation to my family.
