Recently I’ve been discussing with friends on:
2 Co 12:7 whether Apostle Paul indicates that he’s suffering from sickness. Some Christians have different views on the word “thorn”. They mentioned that it was a common expression used in those days similar to our current term “Pain in the Ass” (does not mean real pain). Therefore, I hope to understand what does the original translation means.
Acts 5:1 whether Ananias and his wife Sapphira was actually a truth believer in Christ. (Some said that God would not allow such hash punishment on Christian) Some friend told me that the word “certain man” (which indicated few times in other chapters) shows that the couples are non-believers. I hope to seek your views on this issue plus the reasons why they were punish instantly.
